Channels Seeking Operators and Moderators

These are a list of public channels which have been joined but are NOT registered with ChanServ and are seeking operators/moderators/community members to build them further.

Why?

All channels are "public", anyone who joins a channel first is the main operator and can register it, but we want to avoid drama for some channels.

Channels

1. #helpdesk - A dedicated channel for seeking and providing technical assistance related to ZenDenPen, self hosting etc - Will only be granted to people who have a proven record
2. #dev - A space for developers to discuss coding, share projects, and collaborate
3. #offtopic - A place for off-topic discussions and fun.
4. #announcements - For important announcements and updates.
5. #news - latest news
6. #games - A channel for gaming and multiplayer activities.
7. #music - A channel for music discussions, recommendations, and sharing.
8. #art - A space for artists to share their work and discuss art-related topics.
9. #webdev - A channel for web development discussions and tutorials.
10. #linux - A channel for Linux-related discussions and support.
11. #programming - A general-purpose programming channel.
12. #security - A channel for security discussions and best practices.
13. #science - A channel for science-related discussions.
14. #philosophy - A channel for philosophical discussions.
15. #lobby - A general-purpose chat room for all topics.
16. #chat - Main CHAT
17. #art - For art discussions, sharing, and critiques.
18. #politics - For political discussions (use with caution). Keep it civilized
19. #history - For historical discussions and debates.
20. #literature - For literature discussions, book recommendations, and poetry sharing.
21. #books - Same as #literature but for discussions on books
22. #movies - For movie discussions, reviews, and recommendations.
23. #food - For food discussions, recipes, and restaurant recommendations
24. #travel - For travel discussions, trip planning, and destination recommendations.
25. #business - For business discussions, entrepreneurship, and finance.
26. #motivation - Motivation to get trhrough life!
27. #nature - Everything related to NATURE!
28. #thinking - Developing dep critical thinking skills - CoRT resources
29. #fakenews - Aiming to combat Fake news and develop critical thinking skills
30. #Psychology - The REAL Self Help deal - Discussing psychology
31. #wellness - Wellness
32. #health - Natural health

Rules

• The channels will remain public (no +s, +k or +i modes)
• No spamming. Always respecting the ZenDenPen ToS and IRC rules.
• Server admins may interferre in case of turbulence.
• Have and spread fun!

How to get a hold of a channel

• Send a message to #helpdesk (or andrei or zamolxis to request a private channel audience) stating which channel you'd like and what you plan to do to grow it. (Your nickname needs to be registered with NickServ).
• If accepted You'll be granted OP on the channel and can register it with ChanServ.
• A minimum record track of reputation on Wisdom INsights and IRC is helpful.
• ONce the channel is registered, you may comment on Wisdom Insights and add a description :)
• ONe channel per user
• Supporters/Premium users get precedence but must follow the same rules

Adding New Channels

Additional channels MAY be added to the list at anytime, if you discover any channel which isn't registered, or is registered but there are no known operators (the channel seems abandoned) please let us know by adding a comment.
